John "Jack" Spranger Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jack Spranger, who left us on February 8, 2025, in Amherst, NY. A cherished son of the late John Sr. and Dolores Spranger, he brought joy and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Jack was a devoted brother to Paul (Marion) Spranger and a loving uncle to his dear nieces and nephews: Cathy (Scott) Milne, Paul Jr. "PJ" (Diane), and David (Allison) Spranger, as well as ten great nieces and nephews who adored him. His life was enriched by the presence of Nancy (the late John) Ebert, who shared in the family’s close-knit bond.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday from 10 AM to 12 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals located at 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, NY, followed by a heartfelt tribute at 12 PM. He will be laid to rest in the serene setting of Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made to Our Lady of Victory Charities, specifically for the Crosby House in Amherst, NY, where Jack was a resident and found community and care.  You may donate by clicking here
