(nee Ropski) Ptak; dearest father of Mary MacTarnaghan and Thomas (Janice) Ptak; grandfather of Claymore, Gavin, Amanda and Jennifer (Jason) Banker; brother of Bronislaus (Betty) Ptak; brother-in-law of the late Joseph (Irene) Ropski; uncle of Janice (Gary) Draschan, Judi (Mark) Slowik, Gary (Barbara) Ropski, Steven (Melanie) Ropski and Paul Ropski (Jim Karagianes). Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:30 AM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 9 AM. Entombment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Ptak served in the US Army, member of Queen of Martyrs Holy Name Society, Eucharistic Minister, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Usher, altar server for funerals, Fr. Justin Council K of C 4th degree, co-chairman of the Cheektowaga Polish American Cultural Arts Festival and the Town of Cheektowaga Zoning Board of Appeals.
