April 9, 2020 age 78 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of the late Mary Trudy (nee Ignatowski); loving father of Cathleen (Dean) Mann, Joseph III (Lynne) Chojnacki, Constance (Vincent) Grasso and Carrie (Christopher) Czarnecki; cherished grandpa of Joseph IV (Cadie), Caroline (Beau) Froebel, Jessica, Corinne (Evan) Federowicz, John, James and Clarice; great grandpa of Joseph V, Veronica and Chloe; son of the late Joseph A. Sr. and Agatha (nee Brigman) Chojnacki; brother of Theresa (late Frank) Adamczyk, late Matthew (late Barbara), Alice (late Reno) Ellero, Robert (late Patricia), late Arlene and the late Benedict Chojnacki; also survived by nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 14th at St. Philip the Apostle Church 950 Losson Rd. Cheektowaga at 10 AM. Mr. Chojnacki served in the US Army, a retired captain with the Cheektowaga Police Dept. and was a longtime foster parent for the O.L.V. Infant Home.
