Beloved husband of 65 years to Rita (nee Zakrzewski) Fialkiewicz; loving father of Sandra (Darryl) Widmaier, Judith (Ernest) Szymczak and Wendy Fialkiewicz (Jeffrey Jeris); adoring grandfather of Rachel Szymczak; brother of Bernice Leonard, Lucy Rizzo, Frank Fialkiewicz and predeceased by siblings Edward, Stanley, Julian, Richard, Helen, Julia, Irene and Sylvia; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Friday February 12th from 4-7 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd., Depew) Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at St. Gabriel Church 5271 Clinton St. Elma at 9 AM. Fr. Robert Wardenski, Celebrant. Private family Entombment in St. Adalbert Cemetery will follow the Mass. Mr. Fialkiewicz served in the US Marine Corps. and a retiree of National Fuel.
