SCHMITT, JOSEPH J.
June 22, 2012; at the age of 90; Loving husband of 65 years to Ann (nee Hilton) Schmitt. Dearest father of John (Rose) Schmitt, Cathy Krzywinski, Larry (Kathy) Schmitt and Candy (Al) Cabrera. Dear grandfather of seven grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother and two sisters. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Sunday 2-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday in Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel at 9:30 a.m. (please assemble at church) Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Joseph was a Marine veteran of WW II and a Supervisor with Chevrolet for 33 years. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, contributions may be made to either the Our Lady Help of Christians Preservation Fund or Hospice Buffalo.
