Kathleen Martin

Early morning on July 20, 2024, Kathleen (Kitty) Martin passed quietly with her family. Kitty was battling multiple types of cancer and went out on her own terms. Just like her life, her death was just as she wanted it and no one could make her do it any other way.

At 76 years old she is survived, and deeply missed, by her husband of 57 years Thomas Martin, brother Ron, sons Roger and Randy, granddaughter Kate, daughter in-laws Denise and Kathy, and beloved pooch China. Kitty was born in Buffalo, NY to Regina and Stanley Talowski.

Kitty loved to go to the casino where she enjoyed playing the slot machines and “doubling” her money, a good craft show where she gravitated towards home décor and most recently gnomes for every occasion and season, or sit in comfy chair on a cool night and play some word search games where she would pass away hours keeping herself busy with stacks of those books. She was always there to talk for anyone who needed it and always spoke her mind. It was one of the many things we loved most about her.

There will be no services for Kitty in the formal sense. When the time is right the family will have a small gathering to say farewell, share fond memories and funny stories, and have a good party just like She asked for. We Love You Momma. We will all miss you forever.
