May 19, 2016 age 83 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Carroll); dearest father of Guy, Marc (Pam), Lisa (David) Alessi and Timothy (Val) Meyers; loving grandfather of Erica, Colin, Taylor, Timothy, Nathan, Faith and Savannah; great grandfather of Sophie and Isabelle; dear friend of Frank Swiatek; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-7 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at Queen of Martyrs Church at 11 AM. (Please assemble at Church). Mr. Meyers served in the US Navy and was very active with his church and the Town of Cheektowaga. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in Ken's name to Hospice Buffalo. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.sliwinskifuneralhome.com
