JAY - Larry (JARZYNSKI)
December 9, 2020 age 77 of Hamburg, NY. Beloved husband of 51 years to Janice (nee Mazurek); dearest father of Lawrence (Katherine), Jeffrey (Amy), Jason, and Nicholas (Amy); loving grandfather of Logan, Nathaniel, Franklin, Samuel, Sophia, Nadia and Ava; son of the late Frank and Victoria (nee Mrozinski) Jarzynski. Larry attended grammar school at Corpus Christi and was a graduate of St. Francis High School (class of ’61). He was a drummer who enjoyed entertaining people over the course of many years. As a teenager, his passion for polka music was evident; he was a member of a few bands that played at weddings, the Chopin Singing Society Clubrooms, Dom Polski, and several other social functions. As a young man, he played with the Dave Gawron Quartet who performed for crowds at the Plaza Suite, the Cloister, the Lancer, and the Williamsville Inn. After serving as an airman in the U.S. Air Force, he developed an affinity and love of the men’s clothing industry. Larry was groomed and mentored by Roy Peller and Paul Mure, and he eventually became President/CEO of one of the most iconic fine men’s clothing stores in Buffalo, Peller & Mure. No prior visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday Dec. 19th at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 7580 Clinton St. Elma NY at 10 AM.
