October 7, 2018; age 87; of Cheektowaga, NY; Beloved husband of Carmela C. (nee Fabrizio) Kosobucki. Dearest father of Philip A. Kosobucki. Brother of Christine (late Stanley) Bloch, late Casimir (late Florence), late Edmund (late Helen), late Raymond (late Eleanor), late Joseph and the late Richard (Geraldine) Kosobucki. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday from Saint Mother Teresa Parish 496 Terrace Blvd. Depew at 9:30 a.m. (please assemble at church) Leonard was an Army veteran, teacher, basketball coach and Athletic Director for the Cheektowaga-Sloan School District, Assistant Baseball, Basketball Coach and Instructor at University of Buffalo, Coach of the Buffalo Breskis Pro Softball Team, Section VI Football Official, member of POMOST International and former employee of the Cheektowaga Recreation Department.
