Entered into Rest on December 5, 2016 at the age of 86 of West Seneca, NY. Beloved husband of Sophie F. (nee Piotrowski) Savage; devoted father of Catherine (Duane) Hooper, Debra (Roy) Raup, Cynthia (Raymond) Stachowski, Bonnie (Robin) Johnson and Ann Marie Savage; loving grandfather of Kyle, Corey, Julie, Justin, Gabriel and Elliott; brother of Angeline (late Richard) Hawes; predeceased by brothers and sisters; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Friday 4-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at Queen of Heaven Church 4220 Seneca St. at 11:30 a.m. (Please assemble at Church). Interment to follow in St. Matthew Cemetery.
