It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother on October 21, 2017, at the age 80 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved wife of the late Franz Thoma; dearest mother of Kathryn (Douglas) Hallmark, Karl, John, late Franz, Lisa (Dan) Radomski, Christine Barrett and Erika (Dave) Cuthbert; loving Oma of 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; daughter of the late Johann and Hilda (nee Gerd) Balko and step daughter of the late Jakob Ordner; sister of Johann (Inge) Balko and Bruno (Lilli) Balko; also survived by nieces and nephews. No prior visitation as private services were held with immediate family. Lilly’s family wishes that you remember her fondly in your hearts and in your prayers. Arrangements by MELVIN J.
