July 31, 2013 of Cheektowaga, NY; Suddenly; Beloved husband of 61 years to Antonietta (nee Capozzi) Zaccaro. Dearest father of Angelina (John) Valenti. Dear grandfather of Mary Jane Valenti, Antoinette, M.D. (Casey) Valenti-Cusick, John J. Valenti and Amy Valenti. Brother of Clementina (late Vincenzo) Pedicini, Edvige (Elisabetta) Zaccaro and the late Girolamo (Rosa) and Silvio (late Pia) Zaccaro. Brother-in-law of Igino (Barbara), Frank (Kathie) Capozzi and the late Roberto (Josephine), Damiano (Immacolata), Mike (Helene) and Mario (Frances) Capozzi. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Friday 4-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday in St. Philip the Apostle Church 950 Losson Road at 10:00 a.m. (please assemble at church). Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
