July 21, 2015; of Cheektowaga, NY; Beloved wife of the late Herbert H. Holmes. Dearest mother of Nancy (Donald) Vetter and Diane (Bill) Sprague. Dear grandmother of Jeff (Erin), Brian (Bessy), Matthew (Aimee), Lorraine (Joel Goodrich, Jr.), Rebecca, Sara, Bill (Brandi) and great-grandmother of Andrew, Colin, Dominic, Dylan, Caidence, Gavin and Jenna. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Road) where funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. and from Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, contributions may be made to either Our Lady Help of Christians Church or the Second Chance Cat Shelter.
