POST - Louis F. Sr.
Depew, New York, passed peacefully on December 28, 2016 at the age of 87 surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife the late Marge A.(Latchut) Post and his previous wife Eleanor (Martin) Post. Loving father of six children; Ellen (Larry) Allison, Cynthia (Clarence) Jackson, LouAnn Bajdas, Louis Jr. (Lorraine), Beth (late Alan) Hagemeyer and Martin (Sandy). Brother of Jean Cloen, James Post and the late Raymond Post. Dearest grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Lou was born in Buffalo, New York and lived his entire life in Depew, establishing a commitment to both his family and the community. He served as a volunteer fireman for nearly 50 years with the Bellevue Volunteer Fire Company, District 9. He was also a recognized member of the Regent Riders Motorcycle Club of WNY and a founding member of the Forks Sportsmen Club.

Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 4th from 3-7 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd). A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, January 5th at 10 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 950 Losson Road, Cheektowaga. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA or WNYPBN-Camera Program in memory of Andrei Skolikas-Barnhardt. www.sliwinskifuneralhome.com
