It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lowell E. Hepner, a beloved husband, cherished friend, and compassionate soul, who left us on February 5, 2025. He was the devoted husband of Michelle (nee Cwiklinski), sharing a bond that reflected love and partnership through all of life’s ups and downs.
Lowell was preceded in death by his dear siblings, Irvin, Harvey, and Rachel. His family extended beyond blood, as he nurtured strong connections with many nieces and nephews, who carry forward his legacy of kindness and warmth. Those who knew him will remember the joy he found in the company of his furry companion, Jack, who brought him solace and laughter.
Throughout his life, Lowell forged deep and lasting friendships, particularly within the Farszmil, Reed, Dreshler, and Herring families. These relationships enriched his life and serve as a testament to the loving spirit he shared with those around him.
Lowell dedicated over ten years of service to Key Bank before retiring in 2006, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication. His impact extended not only within the workplace but into the hearts of all who crossed his path.
In honoring his memory, private services have been held. To those wishing to pay tribute, contributions may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., an organization that embodies the compassion Lowell carried throughout his life.
Lowell Hepner will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know him.
