June 14, 2016 age 71 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved wife of the late Raymond P. Kanczak; dearest mother of Maureen (Spencer DelPrince) Kanczak, Karyn (Shawn) Michalski and Mark Kanczak; dear grandmother of Samantha Martens, Sarina Martens, Sydney DelPrince, Lucas Michalski and Grace Michalski; daughter of the late John and Martha (nee Marzynski) Panowicz; sister of Thomas (Olga) Panowicz; friend of Joan Pillittere and Janet Coffta. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday 5-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be Friday at 11:45 AM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 12:30 PM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Mrs. Kanczak was a member of Queen of Martyrs Altar & Rosary Society and a Girl Scout Leader. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to National Parkinson Foundation or Niagara Hospice.
