Maria Galante

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved matriarch, the devoted wife of Diego Galante for 67 beautiful years, she exemplified love and partnership, creating a remarkable bond that will forever be cherished.

A loving mother, she guided and nurtured her children, Dominic (Maria) Galante and Paola (Thomas) Falsone, with wisdom and grace. She carried the memory of her late son, Salvatore C. Galante, in her heart always, a testament to the enduring love she held for her family.

As a proud grandmother, she reveled in the joy of her grandchildren, Isabella and Vittoria Falsone, and filled their lives with warmth, laughter, and countless treasured moments. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family, who were blessed to know her.

She was also a dear sister to the late Onofria (late Salvatore) Galante and the late Angela (late Giuseppe) Rizzo, and her legacy continues through her loving nieces and nephews. The cherished daughter of the late Mario and Rita Licata, her family was her core, her pride, and her greatest joy.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring her memory. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, NY 14043. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at St. Gregory the Great RC Church; all are welcome to assemble at the church to pay their respects.
