December 20, 2012 of Williamsville, NY. Beloved husband of 47 years to Ethel J. (nee Tiffany) Semrau; dearest father of Christine Semrau and Martin (Michelle) Semrau; son of the late Edwin and Charlotte (nee Martin) Semrau; brother of Shirleen Palmer, Charleen (Michael) Willard and the late Diane (Thomas) Tine; brother in law of Robert (Barbara) Tiffany, Donna (Leonard) Neureuther and William Tiffany; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) Family and friends are invited to assemble for a funeral service on Monday in St. John Lutheran Church 6540 Main St., Williamsville (between Youngs and Transit Rds.) at 10 AM. Mr. Semrau was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a retiree of Trico Products, member of the American Legion Post #928 and a volunteer for the Variety Club. Flowers gratefully declined memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
