Mary Jane A. Smith, born on March 6, 1930. In her early years she was a devoted school teacher who served briefly in the Buffalo City School District, touching the lives of many young minds with her passion for education. Throughout her life, Mary Jane was known for her loving nature and her deep affection for family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
On September 11, 2024, Mary Jane passed away peacefully, her beloved family by her side. Her gentle spirit and nurturing personality will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
Mary Jane found joy in simplicity. She was an avid reader and held a special fondness for playing dominos and watching her favorite television shows. She especially loved every moment that she shared with her daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and great granddaughter. Her ability to bring loved ones together will remain an everlasting legacy.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Michele, and son-in-law, Richard Moore; her daughter, Jacqueline Smith, and son-in-law, Raymond Binkowski; and her cherished grandchildren: Michele Binkowski, Taylor and Scott Escobar, John and Stephanie Binkowski, Matthew Binkowski, Alexandra Moore, Lauren Moore, and Elizabeth Moore and her great granddaughter, Claire Escobar.
Mary Jane now rests with her late husband, Kenneth J. Smith, who has been waiting for her with open arms. Though she may no longer walk among us, her love and kindness will forever echo in the hearts of her family and friends.
Her Funeral Mass will be held Thursday September 19th at 10:30am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 4375 Harris Hill Rd. Williamsville N.Y. 14221
