KANTOR, MATTHEW C.
April 18, 2014 of Cheektowaga, NY Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Kwiatkowski) Kantor. Dearest father of Mark (Tish) Kantor and Valerie (Timothy) Meyers. Dear grandfather of nine grandchildren. Predeceased by five brothers and one sister. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday 3-7 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday in Queen of Martyrs Church 180 George Urban Blvd. at 9:30 a.m. (please assemble at church) Interment Holy Mother of the Rosary Cemetery. Matthew was an Army veteran of the Korean War, member of the Hank Nowak Amvets Post #45, American Legion Francis J. Donovan Post #1626, VFW Red Jacket Post #3068, vocalist with the Eddie Olinski Orchestra, well known bugler and a member of the Teamsters. Flowers gratefully declined.
