March 16, 2013 age 85 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of 62 years to Dolores J. (nee Pasquariello) Rutkowski; dearest father of Deborah (James) Kipler, Jeanne (John) Feldmann and Maxine Wiberg; dear grandfather of Corrie (Gretchen) Feldmann, Heather (Andrew) Lohrman, Jamie (Mary) Feldmann, Jonathan (Melissa) Rutkowski and Eric (Sarah) Feldmann; dear G.G. of seven great-grandchildren; brother of Lucille (Paul) Kempf; brother-in-law of John (Adrienne) Pasquariello, Barbara Licata, Shirley Gorski and Linda (Dennis) Wrazen; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9 AM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 9:30 AM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Mr. Rutkowski was a Veteran of WW II, a retiree of Joy and Joy Technology; and a member of American Legion Post 1477, VFW Post 2930, Queen of Martyrs Holy Name Society, 52 Week Club, Golden Agers and Bingo.
