October 23, 2017, of Elma, NY; Beloved wife of Thomas G. Nowak. Dearest mother of Jay (Lisa) Nowak and Janet (Daniel) May. Loving grandmother of Adam, Brandon, Ryan and Lauren. Cherished daughter of Helen (nee Michta) and the late Walter Skrobacz. Sister of Steve Skrobacz and sister-in-law of Patricia (Richard) Horwat. Devoted aunt of Stephanie Wilkinson and Jessica Wayda. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Friday from 3-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and from St. Gabriel Church at 9:00 a.m. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Lonnie was a retiree of Quebecor Printing with over 26 years of service and a member of the AMVETS Buddy Knaus Post 14 Ladies Auxiliary. Flowers gratefully declined.
