July 30, 2013 Unexpectedly at the age of 54; of Cheektowaga, NY Beloved father of Christy Marie Falter; dearest son of Joseph W. and Geri (nee Skapik) Falter; dear brother of Thomas J. (Susie) Falter and Jo Ann Marie (Jim) Gareis; loving uncle of Ryan and Hayley Falter, Jennifer and Justin Gareis; also survived by aunts, cousins and friends. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday 6-9 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Buffalo General Medical Center I.C.U. 100 High Street Buffalo, NY 14203.
