March 26, 2012 of Cheektowaga, NY Beloved husband of 58 years to Katarzyna (nee Kapustynska) Iwanicki. Dearest father of Janina (Gary) Louth and Irene (Patrick) Peterson. Dear grandfather of Danielle (Brian) Culp, Nicole (Erik Cummings) Louth, Jack Peterson, Shawn Peterson and great-grandfather of Dylan Culp and Brianne Culp. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday in St. John Gualbert Church at 11:30 a.m. (please assemble at church) Interment St. Matthew Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc. 225 Como Park Blvd. Cheektowaga, NY 14227.
