June 3, 2016 age 77 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of 52 years to Patricia (nee Blizniak) Kubiak; dearest father of Robert, Nancy (Mark) Suchyna, Audrey and Philip (Sung) Kim-Kubiak; dear grandfather of Meghan (Nathan) Mattison, Ashley (Roger) LaCourse, Lindsay, Jessica and Matthew Suchyna, Sara, Jacob and Rachel Kim-Kubiak; great grandfather of McKenna and Landon Mattison; brother of the late Joseph (Carol) Kubiak and Melvin (Mary Ann) Kubiak; also a great uncle to many nieces and nephews and an amazing brother-in-law. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Monday and Tuesday 4-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM and from Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel at 10 AM. Interment to follow in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to either Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel Fund or the Erie County SPCA. The family extends heartfelt appreciation to all the nurses, aides and staff on 7 West wing at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Norman was a friend of Bill W. for 31 years.
