CIESLA – Patricia Rose “Pat” (nee Kuczkowski)
“Be Not Afraid” died peacefully on October 21, 2015. Born in Buffalo, NY on August 19, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Florence and Vincent “Buzz” Kuczkowski, beloved wife of Peter F. Ciesla for nearly 44 years. A former employee of Westwood Pharmaceuticals, Inc., she left after 12 years there to become a homemaker. Mother of: Marina Ciesla of Lancaster, NY, Melinda (Andrew) Kouklis of Tacoma, WA, Melanie (Bill) Garland of South Wales, NY, Michael Ciesla of Lancaster, NY, and Mark Ciesla, of Euless, TX; sister of: Dorothy (Walter, Jr.) Swigonski, Daniel Kuczkowski, Leonard (Claudia) Kuczkowski, Josephine (Tony) Chrostowski, Mary (Mark) Crist, Christina (Jerry) Cartenuto, Shirley (Adam) Strug, and Marcia (David) Coffelt; loving grandmother of Will Garland. Preceded in death by her twin daughters, Anita and Bridget, sister Sharon (Paul) Blatto, and brothers Ronald, Raymond, Vincent, and Anthony Kuczkowski. The sister-in-law of Lois (Shehbaz) Safrani of New York, NY, and Robert (Brenda) Ciesla of Binghamton, NY, Pat is also survived by dozens of nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015, at 10 AM at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 8500 Main Street, Williamsville, NY.
