March 18, 2023 age 73 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of 47 years to Linda M. (nee Grzechowiak) Maurer; dearest father of Domenic (Abbey) Dicioccio, Janine (Jim) Manuella and Kelly (Tony) Sodaro; dear grandfather of Paige, Anthony, Alexis, Zachary, Baylee and Joshua; son of the late Herman and Emily (nee Schick) Maurer; brother of Roslyn (Samuel) Mecca, Klaus (late Patricia) Maurer and the late Axel Maurer; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends, Sunday April 2nd from 1-5 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.). Mr. Maurer was an employee of the Town of Cheektowaga in the Building Inspector Dept. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Hospice Foundation
