January 21, 2019; of Lancaster, NY; age 89; Beloved wife of 64 years to John Stanko. Dearest mother of David Stanko and the late Daniel (Sharon) Stanko. Sister of the late Helen Galinski, late Florence Galinski and the late Claudia (late Matthew) Jasinski. Also survived by nieces. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and Friday from 1-5 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday from St. Adalbert Basilica at 10:00 a.m. (please assemble at the Basilica) Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Philomena was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society at Sacred Heart Church, Bowmansville, member of the Cheektowaga and Williamsville Symphonies. www.sliwinskifuneralhome.com
