April 9, 2015; of Cheektowaga, NY; Beloved husband of 65 years to Geraldine T. (nee Dukarm) Lipp. Dearest father of Raymond J., Jr. (Deborah) Lipp, Deborah J. (Clifford Kaczmarek) Lipp and Jacqueline A. (Matthew) Serafin. Dear grandfather of Ryan (Nicole) Serafin, Tracee (Jason) McCabe, Tara (Michael) Sims, Aaron Kaczmarek, Kari Lipp, Ashley (Craig) Chadwell and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Also survived by nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday in St. Lawrence Church 1520 E. Delavan Ave. at 10:00 a.m. (please assemble at church) Interment Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery. Raymond was a Navy veteran of WW II serving on the USS Fitch DD-462 and participating in the invasion of Normandy, Southern France and Okinawa; member of VFW Red Jacket Post #3068; a longtime member of International Elevators Constructors Local #14 and a charter member of Sturgeon Point Sportsmans Club. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Lawrence Church. Arrangements by MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME.
