Regina Toporczyk

Regina Toporczyk, a beloved member of the Depew community, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

She was the devoted wife of the late Walter, and her heartwarming spirit will forever live on through her loving children, Karen (Gary) Chwojdak and David (Julie Lisy) Toporczyk. As a grandmother, Regina found immense joy in her grandchildren: Jill (Michael) Dumke, Jessica (Kyle) Smith, Kellie (Alex) Tafet, and Kenny (Jenna) Toporczyk. Each moment spent with them was a treasure, and she took great pride in being a great grandmother to Walker, Maverick, and Anna, who brought her endless delight.

Regina was also a treasured sister to those who have gone before her, including Frances (late Joseph) Poczciwinski, Agnes (late Frank) Lesinski, Vera (late Eddie) Gaik, Sylvester (late Helen) Ruszczyk, Ruth Thompson, and Josephine (late Richard) Twardowski. Her bonds with family were unbreakable, and she loved each of them deeply.

In celebration of Regina's life, her family invites friends and loved ones to join them for a gathering on Friday, January 24, from 4-8 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd, Depew, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 25, at St. Philip the Apostle Parish at 10:00AM. Regina’s warmth and kindness will be dearly missed but forever remembered, as she touched the lives of all who knew her.
