October 2, 2015; of Cheektowaga, NY; Beloved husband of 62 years to Lorraine “Lori” (nee Gburek) Baran. Dearest father of Sandra (Jay) Englert. Dear grandfather of Allison (Justin) Wild, Charles Englert III, and Richard Englert. Predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. Also survived by brother-in-law Stanley Kozuchowski, sisters-in-law Patricia Baran, Sylvia (late Harold) Kuzemsky, Mildred (Melvin) Domagalski and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Sunday and Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday in St. Philip the Apostle Church 950 Losson Road at 10:00 a.m. (please assemble at church) Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Richard was an Army veteran of the Korean War, member of Fr. Justin Council K of C and 4th Degree member of the Maximilian Kolbe K of C. Flowers gratefully declined.
