January 25, 2017; of Lancaster, NY; Beloved husband of Mary Lou (nee Wolf) Balcerak. Dearest father of Thomas A., DDS (Debra) Balcerak and Amy (Paul, DVM) Zoyhofski. Dear grandfather of Lauren Balcerak, Joseph Zoyhofski, Nicole Balcerak, Jeffrey Zoyhofski, Ellen Balcerak and Robert Balcerak. Son of the late Chester and Charlotte (nee Maziarz) Balcerak. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 5337 Genesee St. Bowmansville at 10:00 a.m. (please assemble at church). Dr. Balcerak served in the US Navy and was a member of the American Dental Association, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and a Usher at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, contributions may be made to the Response to Love Center 130 Kosciuszko St. Buffalo, NY 14212. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.sliwinskifuneralhome.com
