January 1, 2023 age 72 of Orchard Park, NY. Beloved father of Timothy (Juliana) Zazynski, Nicholas Jakubowski and Sara (Eric) Kubik; loving grandfather Chloe, Benjamin and Caleb; former husband of Debra Jakubowski; son of the late Bertha (nee Mazur) and Arthur Jakubowski; brother of Barbara (Al) Ryer, Arthur J. (Debra), Edward (Edna) and Joseph (Judy) Jakubowski; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Thursday, Jan. 5 from 3-7 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd. Depew) Mr. Jakubowski was a retired Sergeant with the Cheektowaga Police Dept. and prior, an English Teacher for the Buffalo Schools. Flowers gratefully declined.
