Ruth Turke

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Ruth Turke. Ruth was born in Germany and moved to the United States in her 20s. She lived in Hamburg New York. She was a longtime member of the club Lorelei in Hamburg, New York, where she enjoyed dancing the night away to the many functions. Ruth also enjoyed spending summers at the cottage in Georgian Bay and the winters at the Gulf coast of Florida. Ruth had a very strong personality and was never afraid to voice her opinions. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed sipping her favourite gin and tonic. Her strong personality, laughter and presence will be deeply missed. Ruth will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Hans Turke, daughters Regina Barth and Sandy Pearce and stepdaughter Paula Turke grandchildren, Tera, Jason,Shannon, Rachael and Sarah and great grandchildren, Emma Ava Noah, Braydon and Scottie.

Fly high, My Dear Mother. Watch over us. Your absence in our family will leave a huge emptiness.  We will all love and miss you until the day comes where we will meet again. RIP 💗
