April 25, 2012 of Lincolnshire, IL; formerly of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of the late Jean T. (nee Jozwiak); dearest son of the late Walter and Katherine (nee Czarnik) Szkotnicki; dear brother of the late Mary Drabik, Joseph, Frank and John Szkotnicki; survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-4 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at Queen of Martyrs Church at 9:30 AM. (Please assemble at Church). Entombment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Mr. Szkotnicki was a veteran of WW II and a member Hank Nowak Post #45.
