Dearest father of David (Paulette) Grzankowski, Janice (William) Colestro, Richard (Patricia) Grzankowski, Karen Grzankowski, Susan (Douglas) Ackerman and the late Joyce Grzankowski. Dear grandfather of 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Brother of Leonard (Genevieve) Garr, Irene (Richard) Rogacki, late Theodore (late Cecelia), late Edwin (late Victoria), late Joseph (late Mildred), late Henry (late Casimera) Grzankowski and the late Daniel (Elizabeth) Danwin. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. and from St. Josaphat Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Mr. Grzankowski was an Army Veteran of WW II, a retiree of Westinghouse, a member and Past Commander of Catholic War Veterans Memorial Post #1313, member of Hank Nowak Amvets Post #45, American Legion Adam Plewacki Post #799, Leonard Post V.F.W. Post #6251 and a member of the St. Josaphat Holy Name Society. Flowers gratefully declined.
