Unexpectedly on January 11, 2018 at the age of 49 of Lancaster, NY. Beloved husband of 24 years to Julie A. (nee Gies) Kaska; dearest father of Brett and Jacob; son of Horst and the late Gisela (nee Wedde) Kaska; son-in-law of Charles and Gwen (nee Lees) Gies; brother of Oliver (Sharen) Kaska; brother-in-law of Darryl (Dawn) Gies; also survived by nieces, nephews, family in Germany and friends. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday January 16 from 3-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.). Funeral Services will be celebrated on Wednesday at Lancaster Presbyterian Church 5461 Broadway Lancaster at 10 AM. (Please assemble at Church). Thomas was an account receivable manager at Fisher Price. Flowers gratefully declined.
