July 16, 2014 of Cheektowaga, NY; beloved husband of the late Lorraine (nee Gronowski) Zupo. Dearest father of Nancy (Chris) Selk, Jeanne Zupo, Ann (Stephen) Brnik and Laurie Ann Zupo. Dear grandfather of Christopher (Crystal) Selk, Jeffrey (Christina Nanos) Selk, Sarah Selk, Julianna Brnik and James Brnik. Brother of Joseph (Elizabeth) Zupo, Florence Zupo and the late Clara Sciandra. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Friday from 3-7 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 8:15 a.m. and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 9:00 a.m. Interment United German and French Cemetery. Thomas was a Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion George F. Lamm Post #622. The family wishes to extend their deepest thanks and gratitude to the staff of Elderwood at Lancaster for their loving care of Thomas over the past five years.
