March 1, 2015, of Cheektowaga, NY, beloved wife of the late Marion P. Chmura; dearest mother of John (Salli), Sr. Mary Therese C.S.S.F., James (Susan), Joseph, Thomas (Meg), Patricia (Thomas) Weinstein, Casimer (Dianne), Karen (Brian) Crosby and Kevin (Rebecca) Chmura; dear babcia of ten grandchildren and prababcia of 14 great-grandchildren; daughter of the late Thomas and Pearl (nee Poch) Maciejewski; sister of the late Leona (late Frank) Brzana, late Emily (Richard) Babula and the late Loretta Maciejewski; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9 AM and from St. Josaphat Church at 9:30 AM Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Mrs. Chmura was a teacher at St. Josaphat’s School and was a substitute teacher at various catholic grammar schools, and was a member of the Bishops Committee, Rosary Society, Legion of Mary, St. Francis Benefactor Society and a Eucharistic Minister.
