May 5, 2019 age 90 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of the late Hedy M. (nee Figura) Jagodzinski; dearest father of Janet (Gerard) Owczarczak, James (Hope) Jagodzinski, Linda Flynn, MD (James Flynn) and Susan (Howard Monk) Wright Monk; dear grandfather of Andrew Owczarczak, Alison Owczarczak, Alexandria Wright, John Flynn, Joseph Flynn, Grace Jagodzinski, Stephanie Monk, Ian Monk and Evan Monk; son of the late Vincent and Catherine (nee Marciszewski) Jagodzinski; brother of the late Dorothy Jagodzinski. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Friday May 10th from 4-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:45 AM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 10:30 AM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Dr. Jagodzinski served in the US Navy, a retired dentist, very active at Queen of Martyrs Church, member of Fr. Justin Council K of C, was a musician playing the clarinet, saxophone and the organ; member of the Singing Doctors Choir; served as Past President and member of the St. Apollonia Guild (donating free dental services), was an avid golfer and loved to dance. www.sliwinskifuneralhome.com
