March 3, 2014, of Williamsville, NY, beloved wife of the late Alexander S. "Al Sweeney" Gniewecki, who passed away on March 3, 2004; adored mother of Beverly and David (Melissa) Gniewecki; caring grandmother of Alex Gniewecki; loving daughter of the late Andrew and Sophie (nee Andrzejewski) Dudek; sister of the late Frances (late Stanley) Zima, Edward (late Jenny), Joseph and Eugene (Joan) Dudek; sister-in-law of Thaddeus "Teddy" (late Alice) and the late Frank "Sammy", Mary (late Edward) Borowski, John "Turk", Walter "Scotty", Stanley "Pee Wee" (Dorothy), Joanna and Anthony Gniewecki; cherished godmother of Stanley (Linda) Zima and Diane (Michael) Majchrzak; also survived by nieces, nephews and a special friend, "Cutie" Pumpkin. Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Wanda's caregivers, especially Camille and Karin Foss. Their help and support enabled Wanda to remain in her own home, in familiar surroundings, the last three years. Family will be present Friday 4-7 PM at the MELVIN J.
