November 27, 2014 of Clarence, NY; dearest mother of George (Ellen Marie) Tutaj; dear grandmother of Gail, Robert, Adam (Rebecca), Michael (Emily), Mark, Kascha Tutaj and great-grandmother of Kathleen and Jerzy; predeceased by husband Jerzy; three sisters and a brother; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive friends on Friday 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:15 AM and from St. Stanislaus Church at 10 AM. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Wanda graduated from the Central Institute of Physical Education in Warsaw (1938), immigrated to the U.S. (1952) and worked both in the Catholic School System and at Jewish Family Services (after receiving a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling). She actively participated in Polonia activities as a Board member of the Polish Arts Club; served on the Advisory Committee of the Permanent Chair of Polish Culture at Canisius College; and was involved in organizing the Polish Saturday School.
