January 3, 2016 of Depew, NY. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (nee Kempa) Church 49 1/2 years; dearest father of Christopher P. (Midori) Church and Elisa K. (Daniel R.) Church-Goupil; loving grandfather of Benjamin; son of the late Clarence DeForest and Hazel (nee Burdick) Church; brother of Glenn (Edna) Church, Mary Lou Hoffman, Donna Fiedler, Twila Best, Ronald Church and Roy (Dorothy) Church; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Friday at Queen of Martyrs Church. Please assemble at Church. Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Church was a member of Villa Maria Chorale and Quo Vadis Choir. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Mission of Mercy.
