April 9, 2017, age 88, of Cheektowaga,NY, beloved husband of 66 years to Mary Jane (nee Van Dick); dearest father of the late Deacon William (Susan) Boneberg, III, late Joyce Boneberg, Brian and Glenn Boneberg; dear grandfather of Jennifer (Thomas) Etzel, Kelly (Matthew) Thies, Caryn (Jack) Burgess, Christopher, Kristen (Justin) Fry, Lisa, Bryce and Ryan; great-grandfather of Madyson, Molly, Benton and Bria; predeceased by brothers and sisters; survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Tuesday 3-6 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 AM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 9:00 AM. Interment St. Matthew Cemetery. Mr. Boneberg was a retiree of Niagara Mohawk after 40 years of service and was an avid golfer. Flowers gratefully declined.
