December 5, 2021 age 88 of West Seneca, NY. Loving husband of 63 years to Lorraine R. (nee Sonnenberg) Nowak; cherished father of Donna Strzalka, Gail (Miles) Gentry, William J. (Betty) Nowak and Jill (David) Babel; dearest grandfather of nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; Sister of the late Elizabeth Harzynski; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, Dec. 8th from 4-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 AM. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Mr. Nowak served in the US Navy and was a retiree of Goergen-Mackwirth Co. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Assoc.
