June 30, 2017 age 78 of Depew, NY. Beloved husband of Beverly J. (nee Kirisits) O’Brien; dearest father of Pamela (John) Marki and Thomas (Theresa) O’Brien; grandfather of Jennifer, Rachel and Dylan; son of the late Ervin and Loretta (nee Harmon) O’Brien; brother of Ann (Donald) McDonald; brother-in-law of Louise (Frank) Biela; also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Thursday July 6th from 3-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd., Depew) where funeral services will be held Friday July 7th at 10 AM. Mr. O’Brien was the former owner of Bauer Radiator, served in the US Army, enjoyed the outdoors, the Buffalo Bills and played Santa Claus for many charitable organizations; also a member of Lancaster Country Club, the Kiwanis and the Elks.
